Not sure what it says about me, but I have cried multiple times over the past weekend and the only other celebrity I've done that with when they passed, and since, was Fred Rogers.
Grandpa Joe's Candy Shop (MN, PA. OH, WV, FL) has Runts bananas in all capacities incase there are any other freaks out there like AJ and myself. It's the only place I have ever seen a 5lb bag of those bitches
Mr. Smithee, I just hit “that part” in The King of Video Poker and literally said “oh my god”, got out of my bed, and paced the room for a moment. Like….holy smokes. Helluva recommendation.
I watched that Raggedy Ann and Andy movie over and over when I was little. Scrubbing through the YouTube video brought back so many visceral memories of watching this from my top bunk while sneaking snacks that I hid in my bed. I could never get my sisters to watch it with me, probably because there were younger and the movie is in fact nightmare fuel. I’m definitely going to have to take the time to rewatch the whole thing! Thanks for bringing it back into my life.
Really enjoyed Better Man, felt like the abstraction of the monkey aided in making the story feel more universal and relatable unlike most biopics where the focus is on the famous person instead of the story and theme. Also, the musical numbers were incredibly creative and well done, making great use of film techniques and the CG. Glad I saw it in the theater, definitely worth it.
Lynch's passing hit me hard as both a fan of his work and the man himself, but I'm so happy to see so many people celebrating him and putting up clips and BTS of him that really shows how interesting and great a person he was on and off set. Makes it feel like we're all mourning him together in our own ways, which makes it a lot easier going through the process. Anyway, great tributes from David and Kyle, thanks for linking those, and let's all use Lynch's work and life to move forward and fight through the chaos to come and make a future he would be proud of.

-Love your Local Candy Man
PS Runts themselves have been paused in manufacturing but not discontinued!
